• Worked on a consumer-facing web app written in TypeScript using the React framework and Redux for state management.

• Implemented features for the critical acquisitions and referrals sections of the app that allowed our users to sign up and start claiming shifts on the app.

• Refactored critical portions of the app written in Elm to TypeScript. This required learning Elm on the job to complete features while the refactor was in progress.

• Refactored to newer technologies when it made sense for the performance and maintainability of the app. For example, moving some state management to React Query from Redux and switching from styled components to Tailwind CSS.

• Our admissions application was later converted to a Salesforce Experience Cloud application - I created a tech plan and implemented the code for the frontend of this application, which required learning new concepts relating to engineering in the Salesforce platform.

• Worked with the marketing team as their only engineer conducting A/B testing on the organization's marketing website using Optimizely to increase our top of funnel conversions.
