Compliance Document Automation:
Designed and implemented a multithreaded Spring Batch pipeline processing ~200 regulatory compliance cases per week. Integrated document discovery APIs and AI-based OCR structuring to eliminate manual investigation workflows, reducing case preparation time by ~5 hours per case. Implemented configurable thread pools to increase throughput and improve batch job completion time as case volume scaled.
AI-Driven Case Narrative Generation:
Contributed to the design and implementation of an automated SAR case creation pipeline integrating BigQuery fraud cluster data, SCM services, and Cosmos AI. Built the BigQuery integration layer and LLM-based narrative generation logic to automatically produce structured case summaries at case creation, reducing ~3 hours of analyst effort per case and improving narrative consistency.
Secure Data Hashing Service:
Architected an asynchronous Oracle-backed service for HMAC SHA-256 hashing and encrypted case summary generation to securely mask sensitive financial data. Implemented retry logic for transient failures while preventing reprocessing of validation errors to ensure secure, reliable, and idempotent processing.
Event-Driven Case Linking:
Designed a Spring Batch + AMQ event-driven workflow to replace manual dropzone-based processing. Enabled automated linking of up to 999 records per case and improved data integrity during the Galaxi platform migration.
Testing & Production Reliability:
Built a WireMock-based auto-stubbing framework to simulate downstream APIs for integration testing. Wrote unit tests (TestNG) and functional tests (Mako) for compliance-critical services, and participated in live support rotations to diagnose and resolve batch and API integration issues in production.
