All Public Websites - Complete Stack Migration

• Designed an architecture and road-map to drastically improve the scalability of our public platforms, supporting ~200k daily active users across the globe (330k+ on peak days)

• Created a long-term migration plan to move to the new CMS and architecture, ensuring we could reliably serve content from both sources and invest in building a strong foundation going forward

• Coordinated closely with stakeholders and external teams for months in preparation for cutting over to the new system, communicating progress and facilitating discussions with key groups

• Completed the network cutover with 0 downtime and saw a 40% performance increase on pages that had already been migrated to the new CMS & frontend

• Developed a foundational library, several core components & infrastructure for frontend rendering & CI/CD pipeline using Docker, TypeScript, React, Remix, GraphQL, and TailwindCSS

Product Documentation Redesign

• Removed angular.js in preparation for its deprecation by Google

• Developed a static page rendering plugin for WordPress to remove security vulnerabilities in production and prepare for future migrations

• Redesigned and converted over 800 pages to static, re-implementing functionality provided by angular.js & WordPress server using vanilla JS & APIs

• Led a team of 3-5 developers of mixed experience levels for the majority of my tenure, providing high levels of mentorship to juniors & peers

• Serving as a subject matter expert for multiple teams and multiple subjects including AWS, DevOps, networking/caching, and NodeJS
