The Iron Yard is a 12-week coding bootcamp specializing in highly focused, immersive training centered on language fluency, object-oriented programming, and project-based learning.

As an Associate Instructor, I collaborated with our team of instructors to manage lesson plans and teach programming concepts to students. Responsible for side-by-side mentoring with them through the bootcamp experience. During my time here, I spent a lot of time researching advanced JavaScript concepts such as functional programming and React. I also wrote back-end code with Node.js and Express and used database systems such as MongoDB and SQL.
