Member of the team responsible for developing the software for the SN3000 and SN9000 Optical Switches from the design phase through Customer Release. Software Development was done using C/C++ on both LINUX (control cards) and VxWorks (line cards) OS.

 SN3000: Alarm Agent, Cross Connect manager, Card redundancy, SONET UPSR Path protection.

 SN9000: UPSR Path protection, DS3 1:n Card Redundancy, APS line protection, Low Order PM.

 SN16000: UPSR Path protection.

 DNX: 1:n DS1/DS3 Card protection, APS line protection..

Member of the Passive Optical Network (PON) software development team developing a FTTH product that receives ATM AAL5 traffic over the PON and converts it to 10 Base-T packets at a LAN.

Responsible for:

 Bringing up pSOS up on new MPC860 based board

 Flash Translation Layer driver, Image download and boot operations

 Crash dump handler, and data base I/O functions.

Member of the software team responsible for porting and enhancing GDC's existing ATM switch from a 68030 based system to a PPC 603 platform. Responsible for Telnet, TFTP, MOLN, and file system.

Member of the software development team responsible for designing and implementing a system providing telephony over hybrid fiber coax. This system was made up of multiple 68030 based boards running pSOS and communicating over the back plane using HDLC. Was responsible for call processing and database distribution over all the cards.
