Recently I've been experimenting with AI tooling to make our financial reporting workflows even more efficient (although we already produce financial reporting for way more vehicles per accountant than any other fund administrator).

Building out fund infrastructure for venture funds and syndicates managing billions in assets through AngelList's full service fund management software:

• Built out self-serve hurdled carry functionality, enabling automated distributions on venture funds and SPVs

• Designed and built a Ruby Excel DSL serving an export pipeline for auditable financial statements (balance sheets, capital accounts summary, cash flow, etc.) with one-to-one mapping with Excel formulas using operator overloading, built-in unit tests in RSpec, dynamic styling

• Built a multithreaded rate limiter for background job processing, handling 1M+ RPS sending data to customer webhook endpoints about financial events regarding the movement of billions of dollars

• Unified financial reporting data models to ensure determinism and robust access control

• Designed a PDF export DSL to be used to build invoices and wire instruction PDFs
