Leading a team of product/program managers, in the Microsoft 365 organization, responsible for product development of Microsoft 365 customer lifecycle – acquisition, onboarding, upsell, and retention, as well as driving subscriber growth for consumer and small business segments via in-product channels.
Through funnel ownership, and user experience evolutions I have been able to create new in-product channels driving growth of M365 new user ecosystem (+60% YoY), upsell/conversion to paid subscribers (+40% YoY) and retention of existing subscribers (+24% YoY), while allowing our users to get the most out of their subscriptions.
Built the long term/north star M365 100M subscriber growth strategy and product vision/ roadmap, including but not limited to:
• Freemium: building/growing the office freemium ecosystem and monetization strategy - premium features behind paywall for Office Web Apps driving growth at record pace.
• Windows Attach: building on-ramps experiences in Windows to M365 services, providing one-click entry point to customers to meet their productivity goals, creating new acquisition channels. Leveraging data and customer feedback optimized the customer journeys including right size upsell, in-app purchase (cart checkout) and renewal experiences.
• Mobile Attach: Published Office (preinstalled) on two largest OEMs (Samsung and Huawei) on Android Platform resulting in 40Mn+ devices being enabled with In-app purchase for monetization.
Setup product and engineering best practices across Microsoft M365 organization, bringing coherence and consistency in user experiences across channels, delivering tangible business outcomes.
Responsible for setting up annual OKRs and operations review to track/report progress against fiscal targets. Drove user research and experimentation culture while leveraging qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.
