Support the Cast&Crew Start+ product as a Front-End Engineer. Start+ is an employee onboarding web application that allows production studios to quickly fulfill their hiring needs and provides them with the visibility needed along the way with easy-to-use dashboards. My responsibilities are to help lead, develop, and support this product on the front-end part of the technology stack. I work cross-functionally across Cast&Crew to implement new features and promote high quality engineering practices.

• Rewrote the entire front-end UI experience, using React, Redux Saga, and Apollo/GraphQL, to be a modern, single page application, incorporating Universal Javascript design patterns to improve our user experience.

• Migrated API requests from REST to GraphQL (Apollo), enabling more concise response payloads and reducing network traffic.

• Promoted high quality engineering practices and significantly reduced production bugs by implementing integration and unit testing using Cypress and Jest, respectively, and improved application monitoring.

• Continue to drive Start+ front-end development and promote a services oriented architecture.

Lead architectural design for NGE Interactive's web application on all levels of the technology stack as a Full Stack Engineer. Responsible for working cross-functionally across multiple teams to implement features and UX/UI design.

• Created a new web application based on NGE intellectual property, built with React, Node.js, and MySQL

• Successfully implemented strategic partner's APIs to handle high volume time-sensitive financial transactions

• Implemented Redis Pub/Sub to handle session data and keep all connected clients updated with the latest data

• Collaborated with the UX/UI Designer to design a modern and intuitive front-end UI experience packaged in a custom UI library

• Incorporated best practice Javascript design patterns and drove a micro-services oriented architecture
