Actively led three software engineers, and over a dozen engineers overall. As part of that effort, managed an increasing amount of daily activities for the App Experience team, including daily stand-ups, sprint refinement, planning, and retros (Scrum). Collaborated closely with PM to ensure timely rollout of roadmap items, most recently with GA of App Extensions.

Developed NextJS/ Node Sample Application for BigCommerce’s app developers. The new app is now the foundation for all JS app development at BC and encapsulates all of our best practices, including OAuth flow, design, testing, and syncing with the merchant’s control panel. The app has been referenced and consumed by several of our partners including TikTok and Instagram.

• Integrate, evolve, and manage a large, scalable code base with a team of professional engineers.

• Implement & plug-in new JavaScript frameworks, including Angular, ReactJS, and Node.

• Create libraries and APIs that enable modular, extensible design.

• Enhance and evolve if(we)'s front end using industry best practices including: Unit Testing, Version Control (git/ Stash), and Agile Software Development (Jira).

• Develop existing platforms to conform to the new emerging web standards in HTML5, CSS3/ SASS, and ECMAScript 2015 (ES6).
