Byton is a global EV startup, aiming to transform the car into a next-generation smart device. Working in a global design team, responsible for all the third-party apps integrated into the Byton Auto OS.

Key Accomplishments:

• Led the product design of Baidu Voice, QQ Music, Dianping (a food recommendation app), and Profile Log In (Face ID) in the BYTON Auto OS.

• Maintained system information architecture map.

• Using Sketch and ProtoPie prototyped and validated design concepts with internal and external participants in the seating buck.

• Mentored and coached junior designers by assigning tasks and providing design directions.

• Influenced the design team with the User-Centered Design Process by organizing design workshops and conducting usability studies.

• Influenced the cross-functional teams (PM, engineers) by defining product directions with design thinking and methodology.

• Led the product design of Navigation, Music, and Voice Apps in the Banma Auto OS.

• Created Banma Design System 1.0 and pushed the implementation across design and development teams, which 1) improved design consistency across the system; 2) increased design efficiency by 184% and development efficiency by 87.5% when adapting to multiple screen-sizes and car models.

• Mentored junior designers by setting up design goals and creating production plans.
