A new reactive language aiming to replace Hack at Facebook (http://skiplang.com/)

• Work with core language team on language features

• Develop the compiler, mostly the codegen part, in OCaml

• Rewrite core piece of Facebook's codebase into the new language to validate viability

* Instagram

• Support product teams for feature launches and oncall for multiple years

• Performance optimization for backend: Improved IG's server side efficiency at least for 50%. This involves multiple areas, including CPU and memory profiling, hot code optimization, and so on. • Optimize the deployment pipeline for both IG's backend and web. This includes build pipeline, continuous delivery and deployment, canary (testing on small numbers of machines before going wide). Frontend part includes working on webpack packing, linting, assets deployment and serving.
