Fall 2019 (OS): Responsible for grading exams, holding office hours and assisting Professor Trent Jaeger with programming assignments for Operating Systems (CMPSC473)

Spring 2020 (DBMS): Responsible for designing, grading assignments and holding office hours for Database Management Systems (CMPSC431W)

• Developed the event logger and data matrix decoder for EY Ops Chain (a blockchain supply-chain backend service) with Node.js. Worked with Solidity for deploying ERC721-based smart contracts. Used React to incorporate UI improvements.

• Implementation of a data matrix decoder reduced the final sprint duration by ~2 weeks. Assisted with system design based on supply chain software requirements for a major pharmaceutical company.

Advisor: Dr. Jayant Haritsa

Debugged and optimized the tuned PostgreSQL cost model in Java, integrated timing module for measuring accurate query execution time in the PostgreSQL code, benchmarked the lab’s learning based cost model with TPC-DS and automated project execution.

• Co-founded the local chapter of AIESEC in Mysore, India.

• Led a team of 8 members to market and assist students with AIESEC global exchange programs, achieving 12 exchanges in my term.
