Develop cost savings solutions and identify project savings/underruns early

Partner with the General Contractor and other Vendors to build collaborative relationships

Partner with Internal Cross Functional Partners to build collaborative relationships

Coordinate needs and asks with the Procurement/Sourcing group(s) to support the needs of the Project

Support the pre-construction efforts for upcoming projects

Promote prefabrication strategies

Support the development of Capital Project Budgets and Constructions ROMs

Support the Campus Construction Manager with the campus-wide book of work including contractor, designer, and vendor management

Support the on-site inspection process to ensure a zero punch-list and an expeditious turnover to FacOps

Support the Regional Construction Operations Manager in the management of the regional book of work including contractor, designer, and vendor management

Support the local DC Ops team and other cross-functional departments as needed

Manage the site means-and-methods for the installations of construction on the project. Digging into the details required to bring the building components together into functioning systems. Help execute the needs of the client and stakeholders. Provided a solution to client’s problems. Work in conjunction with trade partner to manage site activities on project from estimate through close out documentation. Analyze project drawings and specifications to gain a full understanding of project scope, client goals and expectations, and resource requirements for each phase of the project. Identify construction approaches and risks to ensure efficiency and mitigate exposure to the client and the company. Monitor and maintain quality assurance. Gather information, develop solutions, and adjust to necessary changes in work sequences. Evaluate and submit paperwork associated with the pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases of a project (RFPs, RFIs, project schedules, submittals, change orders, punch-lists, operating manuals, etc.)

Single point of contact for external partners (GC, Trade Partner, Landlord, Supplier, etc.). Responsible for oversight and development of the Construction Execution Plan (CEP) with the General Contractor and ensures it aligns with the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Pro Facilitates project priorities with General Contractor based upon Project Manager feedback. Escalates key issues quickly to Lead Construction Manager for coordination with Facility Operations Project Manager. Responsible for tactical execution and performance of assigned projects (Financial, Schedule, Safety, Quality). Monitor’s contractors to ensure compliance with approved Quality and Safety Plans. Manages CMOP development and submission process for assigned projects. Coordinate’s development of change order packages and ensures accuracy of cost and schedule impacts. Responsible for project closeout. Participate and contribute to initiatives outside of project work to improve the performance of the team.

Manage the day-to-day activities and long-term projects of the maintenance department (project range from $25K- $5M), application of the plant system to capture breakdowns data, schedule PM’s, planned and unplanned work. Supervises the activities of and assigns work to maintenance personal. Oversea the repair and maintenance of equipment. Direct, support and reinforce plant safety program.
