As a Frontend Engineer on ClassPass's Growth team, I build and maintain our consumer-facing web applications (in other words, our main website). Over the years I've worked with our marketing, design and product teams to create a well-oiled experimentation machine that enables us to frequently build new flows and interfaces and a/b test them with the end goal of optimizing our sign-up and class-booking flows to convert as many visitors as possible into ClassPass users and get them into studios, gyms and spas all over the world.

We use React, Redux, Typescript, Next.js, Node.js, SCSS, and HTML5 on the frontend in combination with a third-party CMS (Contentful) to enable our non-technical team members to make frequent changes to our site with minimal engineering involvement.

At Bellhops, a moving startup, I worked with designers, backend engineers and product managers to think through highly complex business problems, distill them down to simpler questions and then use that simplicity to build smooth and intuitive user experiences. I built internal and external web applications using React/Redux and GraphQL, along with Sass and CSS.

Using Javascript, Ember.js, Sass, D3.js, HTML5 and other development tools, I built several web applications for this connected car startup, including a developer portal, a consumer-facing site, an enterprise portal for corporate customers, and an internal customer management application. Worked directly with designers, backend developers, DevOps and QA departments to ensure high quality of deployed apps.

In 2015 I graduated from The Iron Yard, a 12-week coding bootcamp in Charleston, S.C., where I learned Javascript, Angular.js, Backbone.js, jQuery, Sass, CSS, Git version control and other web technologies. I also worked on several projects with students from The Iron Yard's concurrent Ruby on Rails course.
