ARC is a reporting team that creates presentation ready operations dashboards for C-Suite stakeholders from many different product data streams within Nike.

• Sole individual backend contributor for multiple products

• Troubleshot performance on data centric reporting applications

• Made contributions to CI and deploy infrastructure

• Created microservice workflows that generated new reports for internal stakeholders, which saved Nike at least $3 million in Manufacture Country of Origin audit failures

• Increased maintainability by refactoring most microservices to have a more debuggable standard shape

• Fixed reliability issues throughout our microservice ecosystem by optimizing our data model for fast reads. Transitioning most of our data from PostgreSql to DynamoDb

Backend focused full stack developer for Inseego Subscribe, a SaaS Enterprise and Government Telecom Management System.

As a product we provide billing & reporting, dashboards, order purchasing especially large orders, carrier API integrations, and other large projects that are exclusive to our portal functionality.

• Helped mentor newer jr engineers through pair programming and code reviews

• Increased platform security by converting password hashing from MD5 to BCRYPT

• Reduced page load time by implementing Redis caching. This decreased start-to-finish checkout time for customers by 82%

• Decreased the need for Customer Support to manually configure permissions for users by creating automatic permission switching and admin tools that allowed bulk permission assignments using Vue.js and Vuex

• Designed an OpenAPI3.0 compliant API and Lambda based Email Notification service.

• Collaborated with other developers on splitting out functionality from our monolith into APIs on AWS Lambda based microservices

• Created an AWS Step Function orchestrated process utilizing S3, Lambda, Glue, and RDS to overhaul our billing ingestion system. This design allowed us to modularize & replace a legacy 6k line switch statement that couldn't be scaled to meet our new use cases.

Post-grad intern who
