A 17-week immersive software engineering program based in New York City, centered on full-stack JavaScript development, including Node.js, Express, Sequelize ORM for PostgreSQL databases, React and Redux; along with HTML, CSS, and CS fundamentals.

• Oversees the operations of the pharmacy department

• Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulations

• Ensure staff provide high standards of customer service to customers

• Train staff in pharmacy responsibilities and how to interact professionally and courteously to patient at all times

• Prepares medications by reviewing and interpreting physician orders and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities.

• Counseling patients regarding appropriate use of medications

• Administering vaccines to patients

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness

• Supervises and checks the work of Pharmacy Technicians and other pharmacy personnel

• Counsel patients on possible drug interactions, side effects and proper medication storage.

• Advise customers on the purchase of over-the-counter medications to relieve symptoms of common ailments

• Communicate directly with doctor’s offices and other pharmacies via telephone, fax, and electronically to receive new prescriptions and transfers. Efficiently answer multi-line phone to respond to patient and provider requests.

• Process, submit, and correct insurance claims, and liaise between patients and doctors to validate information

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and other healthcare providers

• Input patient information and prescription order into the pharmacy system (RX Connect )
