As a member of DoorDash’s Storage organization:

Built and scaled foundational data infrastructure (caching, database proxy, key-value storage abstractions, and event streaming abstractions) across four years spanning IC to Staff. Designed and shipped storage-as-a-service platforms and novel key-value systems operating at tens of millions QPS scale, now underpinning the company’s multi-brand platform consolidation. Built a caching proxy from scratch with seven-nines availability at millions QPS scale. Established engineering quality standards and helped scale the team from 4 to 40+ engineers while systematically eliminating single points of failure across critical systems.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Contributor to the Core Tech team where I was responsible for architecting and developing libraries and services to improve the efficiency of all other internal engineering teams and solve key business issues.

Worked with multiple internal stakeholders to develop an application platform and framework to support service development in Go, Python and Typescript.

Provided constant support and communication to other engineering teams that were using Core Tech’s libraries and services.

Worked autonomously to continue the mission of the team and support other team members during a long period of reduced staffing, no engineering manager and limited access to product management resources.
