DESIGN SYSTEMS
• Evangelized the Angelou design system among product teams by providing education and feedback loops to the design and eng org.
• Facilitated training sessions to teach new and existing designers on how to leverage the Angelou design system and Figma effectively.
• Managed and published the design system, regularly updating it to reflect usage of new Figma features and plugins.
• Used Figma analytics and conducted design/eng interviews to identify gaps and room for improvement in the design system.
• Advocated for a contribution process that increased our design system's efficiency.
• Provided guidance and mentorship to 2 other designers looking to grow their expertise in Figma and design systems.

USER EXPERIENCE
• Partnered with product managers, researchers, engineers, and SME's to create a K-12 student-centric experience that drives consistent and meaningful engagement on the Newsela platform via personalization and gamification. My design efforts led to a 13.2% increase in Quiz completions and a 205% increase in Vocabulary word completion.
• Partnered with cross-functional team members to redesign the teacher homepage, which led to an increase in the CTR from 1.93% to 18.4%.
• Held cross-functional workshops to promote visibility and alignment.
