I'm working on indie desktop PC games in Unity, Godot, and Unreal Engine.
Some of what I've done in terms of development
• Contributor for the Godot Engine (real-time keyframe previews within the Animation Player editor tool)
• Tools for procedural level creating and entity placement
• Custom built tools to manage importing, slicing, and creating sprite animations automatically
• Custom tools for scattering objects, painting tilemaps based on advanced rules, and generating colliders / triggers for gameplay elements based on level geometry
• Custom scripts and shaders to simulate unique lighting, shadows, and effects like clouds / fog in a 2D context
• Custom sfx system to trigger specific sounds based on surface
• Integrating with LootLocker and the Steam API for leaderboards
• Creating sprites and animations with Aseprite
• State-based gameplay mechanics and animation
• Custom animation system to more flexibly control playback speed, speed up pipeline of going for Aseprite to in-game animations, and sync multi-layered sprites to the same animation frames over time
• Level design, art direction, and sound design
• Marketing
