Generated new revenue in a traditionally non-revenue business unit, as measured by sales of unused IP addresses, by building a self-service IP address management application for IBM’s internal network.
Automated internal IP address provisioning for a select group of network engineers that previously relied on manual action from a third party vendor, reducing spend by 50% and delivery time by 99%.
Developed a Java/SQL data inventory application that improved visibility and enabled access management for IBM’s multimillion-dollar investment in its data lake. Allowed executives to identify which projects to continue funding and which were able to be cut.
Delivered network troubleshooting tools in Java and Python that reduced network engineers’ mean time to detect issues by 30% and improved network availability.
Ensured audit readiness and reduced compliance risk by integrating automated security and compliance testing into the CI/CD toolchain as team subject matter expert.
Automated ServiceNow change record creation for every internal network modification, saving hundreds of engineering hours each month and supporting CIO transparency initiatives.
Automated user access validation for compliance by developing a React/Java dashboard, eliminating manual tracking and significantly reducing audit overhead.
