+ Developed a compelling frontend platform from a Figma design using javacript and React that communicated with the backend system via APIs

+ Constructed RESTful APIs complete with extensive unit and integration testing using python and Django in a backend engineer capacity

+ Hit the ground running at the ambitious startup, HeyDay, as the second engineer where I:

+ Architected scalable, configurable systems to ingest data through 3rd party APIs and store the results in AWS S3 for consumption

+ Created RESTful APIs in python using frameworks like FastAPI to produce clean, usable, intuitive backend connections

+ Leveraged AWS Lambda to develop robust pipelines that ingested data from various sources including Google Drive

Mission: Leverage artificial intelligence to analyze echocardiograms

+ Jumped into iCardio.ai in September 2019 as the third member of a small multidisciplinary team where my work included:

+ Training, optimizing, and deploying machine learning (ML) models through AWS EC2 and Sagemaker instances

+ Constructing modular, maintainable data pipelines in python capable of analyzing echocardiograms by incorporating the ML models

+ Developing web applications using Django whereby users can upload raw files and receive a cardiologist-equivalent report generated by our algorithms
