Tech stack:

• Java, Javascript/Typescript GraphQL, HTML, CSS, Postgres/SQL, Scala.

• Frameworks & Common Libraries: React, NextJS, Spring, Guice, Tailwind.

Operations:

• Handling customer-facing tickets, monitoring API health, addressing infrastructure issues during on-call. Adhering to 5 minute SLA for high severity tickets.

• Subject Matter Expert for Amazon Music help pages.

• Implemented several scripts/browser plugins to automate manual tasks (e.g. ssh-ing into several hosts to query logs at once).

Full stack projects:

• Implemented UI, emails, and APIs to enable pausing and resuming of subscriptions.

• Implemented UI and APIs to enable third party Music promotional signups, including partnership with Disney+.

• Responsible for maintaining existing subscriptions products and creating new signup opportunities through third parties.

• Designed and implemented 2-click cancellation in mobile apps to meet German regulations.

Back end projects:

• Designed and implemented Cash Back through third party partners after subscription signup.

• Designed and implemented bounty payments to third parties for driving successful paid subscription signups.

• Modeling and implementation of GraphQL queries and mutations in Typescript.

Design and Architecture:

• Routinely leading project designs, implementation, and reviews.

• Identifying alternate solutions and arguing pros/cons.

• Focus on performance, latency, TPS.

• Focus on customer retention, compliance, and Customer Obsession.

Documentation:

• Passionate about knowledge sharing as means of improving systems understanding and unblocking devs for technical tasks.

• Enabled successful transition of Partnerships ownership to a new dev team. Led onboarding, compiled domain documentation, and conducted knowledge transfers.

Technical support for UC Santa Cruz staff and students. Troubleshooted routers and resolving client issues with the residential wireless and wired networks.
