Led a team of 4 designers focused on projects to holistically elevate the ad experience across LinkedIn for both advertisers and LinkedIn members.
• Collaborated with cross-functional peers to evolve the overarching ad experience strategy, with notable considerations being how to better support a content-first advertising approach as well as how generative AI might fit in.
• Introduced team operational processes to help the team grow, inspire and learn from each other, and be celebrated for their hard work.
• Co-led effort to migrate the whole Ad product ecosystem to the new upgraded design system, working closely with product and eng to chunk out digestible milestones to work towards so that we could still make progress in the face of lack of top-down resourcing constraints.
• Shipped key, high impact features to the benefit of both advertisers and LinkedIn members, from new ad formats for advertisers so that they can better engage their audiences (eg. Document ads, Conversation ads) to member experience enhancements (Why am I seeing this ad, Ads Transparency center) so that members can engage with ads safely across the ecosystem.
