⚡️Brand Sprint Workshop Client
Creative Director, Workshop Faciltator, working Designer: Strategy, Art & Copy — Over 3 phases, re-envisioned and rebuilt all aspects of the visual identity system (VIS-ID), and ultimately provided Fractional creative services advising the Design Team + special projects.
Phase 1: Working closely with the Co-Founders; Derek Jeter, Brian Lee & Jessie Glass, facilitated a multi-day immersive brand sprint workshop (IRL): category research, competitive brand audit, emotive storytelling, and iterative daily design/proof of concepts. This future-forward approach positioned the company to be a leader in the secondary market of the highly competitive sports collectibles category. The ultimate workshop deliverable: a compelling brand book communicating the new vision of the brand, creative strategy, and the brand narrative.
Phase 2: Per the new strategy, and retaining some heritage brand elements via the Co-Founders, a new design language was established and applied to all Marketing channels and Product Design: CRM, social, print, retail packaging, events, marketplace website, mobile app, TV, and flagship digital products (Slab Packs). This also includes direction for event production agencies, and motion graphics contractors.
Developed new copywriting, style and tone, tagline, typography/fonts, design system, photography and trading card art direction, digital products look/feel + icon system, robust brand book/style guide, and team training + onboarding new Design Team members.
Phase 3: Fractional creative services and on-going advisory for the Design Team (Brand + Product): reviewing creative, sharing inspo, and competitor creative, teaching best practices, up-skilling craft, presentation techniques, and mentoring/coaching. Weekly Design Office Hours were also run for the team. All while handling special projects for the Head of Marketing with creative approvals by the Co-Founders.
