• Responsible for essential user flows such authentication (login, single sign on for external applications), authorization (user permissions, token generation) and user creation as part of Account Management team
• Led the effort to make company’s permission system compatible with SCIM groups standardized protocol, enabling user’s identity providers (e.g Okta, Azure) to automatically provision users
• Collaborated on the design and implementation on the user authentication portion of the ThousandEyes' integration with Cisco’s Meraki, opening up over 9000 potential users and a projected $58M worth of new customers
• Helped maintain and scale several Java SpringBoot microservices (with APIs), processing critical user management data, to handle over 500,000 active users with 175+% year over year user growth over the past couple of years. Services were deployed microservices in 3 AWS EKS regions to reduce global latency
• Drove effort to migrate all user related functionality to a separate disaster AWS EKS environment, with independent database clusters, to seamlessly handle user traffic in the case of emergency and maintain our 99.9% service availability
• Regularly collaborated with customer support to triage and fix specific customer applications. Debugged and implemented a solution to an issue potentially preventing any new SSO users from using the ThousandEyes API, impacting up to 15% percent of our user base at the time
• Migrated over 20 internal APIs from the company's monolith code into our team’s individual GRPC micro-services to reduce latency and ease of use
