The Trust & Safety Engineering team at Cloudflare plays a crucial role in empowering customers with products and services to combat abuse, coordinating with external industry anti-abuse partners, and ensuring the company can respond to the rapidly changing legal landscape of the internet. The team is dedicated to making the internet a safer place and is responsible for the entire software development lifecycle for internal and customer-facing software.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, maintaining, and scaling UIs to extend functionality of the internal Trust and Safety dashboard

• Analyzing and communicating complex technical requirements and concepts, identifying highest priority areas, and carving a path to deliver

• Collaborating with product and design teams to understand goals and translate UI design into products that align with customer needs

• Collaborating with other software engineers in the team to align on API designs and functionality

Working closely with Cloudflare's Trust and Safety team to help make the internet a safer place

• Facilitating technical collaboration on frontend between Trust and Safety Engineering Team and other frontend teams in Cloudflare

• Delivered large patient-facing features including a new cart checkout flow, intermittent

messaging, intake forms, and a storefront page for third-party vendors

• Increased team development speed and productivity by creating an internal design system

and developing reusable components

• Lead product planning on major projects by defining scope, breaking up tasks, writing tickets,

and providing launch date estimates

• Resolved numerous production bugs and usability issues during on-call rotations

• Participated in an on-call rotation to address production bugs and make usability improvements

• Code reviewed pull requests, wrote unit tests, and manually tested (QA) features and large projects before launch to assure product and code quality

• Developed core features for the mobile and web application resulting in a 4% increase in

conversion, 20% increase in funding rate, and a 2-day reduction in the time users spent in a

restricted state

• Worked cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to

solidify business goals

• Debugged and fixed production application issues reported through bug reports and client

support requests

• Wrote end-to-end tests for our mobile app and website using WebdriverIO

• Conducted technical interviews (technical project walkthrough)

• Planned and led a maintenance sprint for the engineering team resulting in reduced tech

debt and increased collaboration between different engineering teams
