I investigate classical and quantum algorithms for modeling the statistics of classical nonlinear dynamical systems.

• Developed from scratch the software infrastructure for the research project, including classical algorithmic pipeline for systems modeling (problem formulation, simulation, and post-processing).

• Designed quantum-classical hybrid algorithm and quantum error correction (QEC) methods, leading to positive results from IonQ’s 11-qubit machine and first-author presentation at APS March Meeting.

I served as a residential peer leader at Metcalf dormitory at Brown University. The role is similar to Residential Assistant at other universities.

• Oversaw and mentored more than 100 students in the residential dormitory.

• Fostered a comfortable community by mediating multiple conflict negotiations.

• Promoted the safety and wellbeing of the residents by responding to crisis management requests independently

Supported by a National Science Foundation (NSF) undergraduate research fellowship to conduct research as a member of the Brown Polar Oceanography Group. I investigated noisy timeseries data from a NASA satellite and study the decay pattern of ocean waves in Antarctica. The work especially focused on runtime and noise mitigation in satellite measurement. Major achievements include:

• Engineered an algorithm to crawl through database with more than 100 daily new uploads and gather data sets of interest.

• Analyzed the utility of convolution on data denoising and missing entries interpolation.

• Discovered decay trend in observed data by utilizing power spectrum decomposition and isolating sources of signals through spectral unmixing.
