Project Description: Integrate large scale (more than 40 subprojects) legacy J2EE application into BEA Aqualogic portal.

Environment: Aqualogic G6, IBM WebSphere Server 5.1/6.0, WSAD/RAD, Java, Spring, Struts, Rational ClearCase, Subversion, Maven.

Responsibilities:

• Phase 1 (done): Designed and developed a binding framework to leverage current J2EE code (based on Struts, Spring, Tiles) and integrate an entire legacy application into Aqualogic portal by providing minimum changes in existing code. Aqualogic session preferences, struts actions, core Aqualogic tags, IDK, PEI (Programmable Event Interface), custom SSO and Adaptive portlet framework have been used to create a set of dynamic integration points.

Project Description: FLM Dashboard project. The main purpose of the FLM Dashboard is to enable greater a First Line Manager productivity and efficiency by optimizing time spent managing a team of sales representatives.

Environment: Aqualogic G6, Unix/SunOS, Java, Weblogic 8.1, Design Patterns, Eclipse, IDK, Adaptive Portlets/AJAX, CVS, Backweb, Oracle, ANT.

Responsibilities:

• As an project Architect designed project standards and framework (Ajax based UI, shared domain service layer, DAO, JUnit, exception processing, connection pooling, logging), developed portlet template, ant build scripts. Project contains more then 25 different portlets;

• Lead 4 offshore developers (onshore training, conference calls, e-mails);

• Strong problem solving experience (Weblogic, JDBC, pooling), JVM tuning, portlets performance monitoring (Apache JMeter);

• Created cross-page and cross-portlet navigation framework based on Aqualogic G6 practice;

Project Description: Integrate the company internal business processes into Aqualogic portal.

Environment: Plumtree 5.0.4, Java, Design Patterns, SOAP Web Services, Tomcat, EDK, Adaptive Portlets, Struts, Spring, Oracle, XSLT, XSL, XML, CVS

Responsibilities:

• As an Architect designed and developed POJO Domain Layer (includes over 18 packages) based on IoC design pattern and shared over different Java web applications. Updated portlet and designed web service templates are to be used as standard in corporate development;

• Developed set of SOAP Web Services to share Domain Layer functionality (mainly DAO sublayer) over front-end .NET applications;

• Designed and developed 6 web applications (mainly portlets) based on Java, JavaBeans and Plumtree adaptive portlet (AJAX) technologies;

• Promoted and used Spring framework (factory container and utilities) as base for application context and Domain Layer container.
