▪ Developed in React and Scala, and worked on fullstack features (e.g. reporting flow, appeals) to improve overall platform health.

▪ Led efforts for migrating our appeals system for Sensitive Media from on older, legacy service into our newer reporting flow. Worked cross-functionally to introduce and support appeals for content labeled as Misinformation; worked with React, Redux, Scala, and APIs.

▪ Supported web client work for Safety Mode (an algorithm-driven content moderation tool) working with React, Redux, GraphQL, Relay, and APIs.

▪ Converted multiple endpoints used on the various Settings pages to GraphQL

▪ Performed as an onboarding buddy & mentor for several new hires and apprentices

▪ Developed in React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Go

▪ Made significant contributions to converting & refactoring VSCO's front-end application to TypeScript (from 30% to 85%).

▪ Coordinated, refactored, built, and launched major improvements to VSCO's internal content review tool to improve the speed and efficiency of the trust & safety team.

▪ Collaborated, shipped and maintained the engineering blog (eng.vsco.co).

▪ Coordinated and executed the migration of changing our deep-linking vendor on our web & server platform without downtime.

▪ Proactively improved, revamped and simplified documentation across VSCO's tech stack.

Planned, coordinated, built and internally shipped a new native framework that would allow developers to integrate 3rd party content into their issues & pull requests.
