Participating in Cohort 7 of the Climatebase Fellowship, the climate career accelerator for mission-driven professionals. The Climatebase Fellowship combines a 12-week industry-oriented educational program and ongoing community membership throughout the year. Each cohort hosts over 100 expert guest speakers, career support, project-based work, and a supportive network of highly talented peers, optimists, doers, creators, visionaries, disruptors, and explorers from a wide range of backgrounds and organizations.

• Significantly improved log data storage reliability.

• Optimized log data processing for older data by designing an automated load balancing mechanism.

• Led a wide-reaching database reconstruction to increase scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Integrated the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Threat Intelligence service with the Logging Analytics service.

• Implemented an Apache Kafka message-based cache refreshment framework to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in the customer experience.

• Enhanced and modernized legacy error handling at a large scale.

• Added internal alarms to accelerate error triage.

• Drove the continuing development and improvement of enrichment options for log data processing.

• Created written and visual documentation on existing processes, architectures, and internal data concepts.

• Built Grafana dashboard to display, aggregate, and analyze data collected from both internal and customer metadata-based metrics.

Assisted with early stage development of a project using unsupervised learning on sequencer data to relate phenotypes to genotypes with the goal of understanding implications for cardiological health.

Designed and built from the ground up a new image-curating feature requiring complex user interactions called “Pattern of Life,” culminating in a company-wide presentation and demo. Utilized JavaScript, JSX, React, Redux, CSS, and HTML to build intuitive user interactions. Expanded the existing redux state tree and built new flexible and clean components. Coordinated and led frequent design discussions with technical and design teams and management.
