At Rivian, our team is focused on building resilient experiences through technology that challenge what’s possible as we transition to a world of sustainable transportation.

In this role as a full-stack engineering lead, I strived to deliver impactful software solutions across various domains at Rivian – from customer-facing to internal tools and operations – leveraging my ability to collaborate and bridge the gap between different teams and technologies.

• Actively participated in designing and building essential e-commerce features across B2C and B2B, constantly striving to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience for Rivian customers.

• Closely collaborated with product and business teams to drive the development of tools to improve operational efficiency – to the benefit of employees as well as customers.

• Fostered software culture and tools rooted in collaboration, consistency, and resiliency to facilitate development and growth of Rivian's software ecosystem and organization.

• Building strong relationships with teams across Rivian was and remains a focus, ensuring seamless integration and communication which allow systems and teams to scale over time.

In this role, I was a tech lead and individual contributor in the digital experiences team (architecture, consulting and implementation):

• Supported a wide array of companies from early-stage startups to Fortune 100 enterprises.

• Contributed to tech stacks with a variety of languages, libraries, and frameworks.

• Instilled design and development practices in areas such as systematic thinking, accessibility, tooling, making a healthy use of web standards, and others.

• Actively partnered and contributed to our multidisciplinary product team, integrating with our parallel strategic, design, and business efforts.

I joined Swirl to help establish and grow meaningful technology practice. This effort evolved into forming a cross-functional team focused on holistically solving digital design and technology business problems through Design Thinking.

• Oversaw, advised, and actively contributed to building custom web-based solutions for clients ranging from early-stage businesses to enterprise.

• Provided ongoing communication, technical recommendations, and guidance to clients.

• Served as a lead advocate for technology and accessibility with our team and clients.

• Participated in establishing software development workflows, tooling, and best practices.

In 2017, Swirl was acquired by mcgarrybowen, part of Dentsu Aegis Network, to "enhance its digital, social and technology capabilities."

In this time period, I worked in freelance and contract capacities with a number of companies to aid in areas:

• Identifying usability, accessibility, and documentation gaps in internal corporate design systems, and helping to remedy these.

• Architecting and implementing visually engaging and interactive web experiences.

• Bridging communication gaps and workflow between development and design teams.
