Project: Dropbox Passwords
• Led a full stack project–shipped two days early–to drive Password product awareness among Dropbox Teams through a page banner, including writing a tech spec, executing on well-tested backend and frontend code, and adding logging to track metrics.
Project: Branding Center / Unify Branding
• Instrumented frontend rendering and backend logic together with two engineers to deliver enhanced branding features on file sharing for over 200K professional users with A/B testing using remote feature gating.
Project: Data and metrics monitoring
• As team data lead, motivated team’s data-driven culture by presenting metrics of team-owned products by using Grafana, Hive and SQL to query based on success metrics.
Project: On-call
• Participated in on-call rotations to monitor alerting and bugs. Debugged flaky tests, code reviewed, and identified a SEV with our product flow.

Project: Password Secured File Request
• Developed and led a project for a well-tested full stack (platform, backend and frontend) password feature for the File Request (dropbox.com/requests) with integrated security measures to hash and store associated passwords. It was featured in Dropbox’s company product updates and shipped to over 800K users.
• Collaborated with PM and design to render a responsive and intuitive password submission page using Typescript, React, and CSS.
• Engineered a RESTful api using Python, Protobuf and company-specific frameworks to verify password submissions.

Amsterdam Area, Netherlands
• Advised management and directors on international insurance policy and implementation of key projects, as coordinator and policy advisor for the DNB’s membership in the Sustainable Insurance Forum (SIF), a global network for insurance regulators to address sustainability challenges in the insurance sector, and International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS), the global standard setting body for the insurance sector.
• Led and published quantitative analysis on transition risk due to climate change in commercial real estate portfolios of financial institutions, which led to subsequent sector projects and knowledge-building exercises for climate risk among supervisors.
• Acted as member of the international drafting team for the SIF-IAIS 'Application Paper on the Supervision of Climate-related Risks in the Insurance Sector' (May 2021), the first paper of its kind published at a global level that provides supervisors of insurance companies guidance on integrating climate-related risks into supervisory frameworks worldwide.
• Contributed to papers as a subject-matter expert on climate-related risk: 1) Nature-related Risks in the Global Insurance Sector (Nov 2021); 2) Financing the transition: seizing opportunities for a green recovery (May 2021).
• Facilitated knowledge-building among supervisors by giving presentations on flood risk attended by roughly 60 supervisors, as the policy expert on national flood risk.
• Advised an intern’s masters project on insurability of flood risk in the Netherlands in light of climate change, which was published on DNB’s internal website.

• Developed a product in R that automatically generates the monthly balance of payments for the European Central Bank in minutes, which improved compilation time by 90%.
• Performed data wrangling to create insightful graphs using R, which were presented at the European Central Bank.
• Researched and presented guidance on predictive value of select market signals to aid supervisors’ risk assessment processes to division management in a policy note, which were subsequently adopted.
• Contributed efforts to organize the Annual Conference for Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) in Paris, France, a conference to present the first NGFS comprehensive report with recommendations aimed at central bankers, supervisors, and policymakers to facilitate the role of the financial sector to ‘green’ the financial system. Drafted the foreword of the Report for Frank Elderson, former Chair of the NGFS. The conference attracted financial institutions and central bankers worldwide and heads of the Central Banks of France and England.
