Worked on security, scalability, and performance for Amazon EMR (Elastic MapReduce). Led the development team that launched support for Amazon EMR on AWS Outposts at re:Invent 2019. This allows customers to set up, deploy, manage, and scale Apache Hadoop, Apache Hive, Apache Spark, and Presto clusters in virtually any data center, co-location space, or on-premises facility.
