• Serve as the most senior individual contributor on Gametime’s 15+ person engineering team, providing technical leadership and mentorship

• Lead a variety of backend engineering projects, including architecting solutions, supervising team members, and interfacing with business stakeholders

• Led and designed a rewrite of Gametime’s proprietary pricing and curation service, resulting in 2.5x increase in customer-facing app speed

• Rewrote Gametime’s purchasing and fulfillment system (responsible for accepting customer transactions and delivering customers’ tickets), including integrations with payment services, and managed its rollout

• Automated the business process of delisting sold tickets, reducing internal manual work and improving the customer experience

• Wrote and ran load tests on our core services in preparation for peak season, finding and fixing several issues uncovered in that process, resulting in zero load-related downtime incidents during the season

• Led engineering for the Minted launch of custom postage stamps (solution architecture, code reviews, project management, design reviews with senior leadership), which drove multiple points of company growth

• Built components in React to support site transition from Backbone.js

• Served as scrum master for the e-commerce team, implementing best practices for sprint planning

• Contributed to projects across the Minted e-commerce experience, including homepage, photo upload,

custom envelope addressing, and the post-purchase experience

• Significantly reduced site latency through database optimizations and front-end improvements

• Updated valuation programming to account for plan and assumption changes; thoroughly tested valuation programming each year and after any change

• Calculated liabilities and smoothed asset values for plans worth more than $1 billion

• Coordinated with clients to obtain participant data for over fifty retiree- health plans and six multiemployer defined benefit pension plans
