• Implemented RESTful API backed by a PostgreSQL DB with 30 million records to support accurate create, read, and update operations under web-scale load while maintaining low latency for key queries

• Introduced load balancing with NGINX after extensive performance testing with Loader.io and K6, increasing request-per-second tolerance from 750 to 7000 with 0% error rate and response time under 70ms

• Deployed service and database to AWS EC2 and hit production metrics goals on t2.micro instances
