Worked on Instagram Android on the Messenger Presence team

• Developed several Android apps in Java, including a To Do list app, an Instagram-like social media app, and an app that displays information about movies using the MovieDB API

• Planned stories and sprints, created wireframes, and programmed an Android mobile app called LocalVenture (see below)

Local Venture (https://github.com/erinwu25/LocalVenture):

• Connects travelers with local residents who will give them a tour of the non-touristy experiences around a destination

• Allows users to create an account and log in using Parse Database

• Filters search results by location--using the Google Places SDK--and user-input dates

• Promotes communication between users with the in-app chat feature

• Coded charts and graphs in Mode Analytics and Google BigQuery for analyzing pain points that consumers encounter when setting up Spinnaker, a continuous delivery platform

• Analyzed consumer data to identify inefficiencies and optimize time to value for multi-million dollar companies

• Created data visualizations using SQL for the Sales Engineers to use when promoting Spinnaker and the company
