Google Pay (Jul, 2020 - May, 2021)

• Designed and landed the Instant Checkout Preauth feature in Android GMS Core to improve seamless checkout experiences.

• Implemented secure, vendor-agnostic data exchange for the Courier Service in the Google Pay App, supporting all Google Pay/Wallet card-linked offers.

• Ads Credits & Financial Planning: Developed web applications for Ads Credits Planning & Reporting ($xxB+), including, ledger and reconciliation service, data injection pipeline from 3rd broker (xxxM entries), chatbot, dashboards and automated coupon code delivery. (Stack: Hack, React, GraphQL, Java, Presto/Hive, Thrift, Graph Database)

• WhatsApp Registration: Implemented an Erlang backend service to crawl and remove orphan accounts.

• Developed CAD tools in C++ for modeling RTL, netlist, and mixed-signal systems within the Quartus software suite.

• Integrated Cadence Virtuoso API to extract millions of nodes and implemented event-driven algorithms for post-synthesis netlist co-simulation for Serdes components.

Served as TA for two courses, E4321 Digital VLSI Circuits by Prof. Shepard and E4312 Analog Electrical Circuits by Prof. Dickson.

• Participated in the research of Quadrature Analog-to-Information Converter System for spectrum scanner supervised by Prof. Kinget.

• Set up Virtex-7 FPGA measurement environment by writing Verilog/VHDL for the driver of ADC FMC116 board and MATLAB for data processing. Modified application programming interface (API) and programmed in C/C++ for configuring board.
