Characterized phase drift in RF control electronics and its impact on the stability of readout fidelity in superconducting quantum computers. Diagnosed the root cause of an obscure and intermittent hardware bug causing incorrect readout results to be returned to customers. Gave internal presentations about software techniques used to diagnose the root cause.

Characterizing germanium as a hard x-ray sensor material for imaging detectors

• Constructing & verifying a cryogenic test setup with stable temperature control, high vacuum, electrical feedthroughs, etc

• Verifying signal integrity, calibrating against temperature drift, and validating performance characteristics of the mixed-mode readout ASIC

• Characterizing a variety of unknown defects observed in the germanium sensors and diagnosing the source
