• Engineered a high-availability notification service to support dual-track requirements: high-throughput marketing (millions sent in <5 mins) and low-latency, real-time game alerts across push and email.
• Spearheaded the consolidation of all Niantic notification services into a single, unified platform, significantly reducing infrastructure costs, system complexity, and maintenance overhead.
• Engineered and launched the backend service to power the iOS Live Activities feature, enhancing user engagement by delivering real-time game updates directly to players' lock screens.
