Job Responsibilities

• Work within a team to help facilitate a BDD (Behavior Driven Development) approach to testing

• Be a conduit to expose and address bugs before they make it to production deployments

• Contribute improvements to processes and tools, such as the continuous integration pipeline, to increase product testing capabilities

Work as a Full-Stack Engineer using various languages including but not limited to Python and JavaScript.

Achievements:

• Setup the team’s versioning process with GitFlow.

• Developed a cli to automate the build and deployment of its different parts using the Serverless Framework with Amazon Web Services which run most of them in parallel to greatly reduce the build process from 50 minutes down to 12 minutes.

Responsible for designing, developing and debugging software applications for the life cycle management of the Oracle Farm.

• Standardized the team's branching and merging process of code versioning with a Continuous Integration model and, in order to mitigate the increase in complexity, developed a tool to wrap the versioning commands and execute them in the expected sequence.

• Taking advantage of the new standardized model, developed a tool to automate the software packaging, reducing from hours to seconds what used to be a manual set of tasks easily prone to errors into a fast and reliable process.
