Designed and implemented full-stack, microservice-based web application architecture using Typescript, React, Node, PostgreSQL on AWS (EC2, Lambda, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, S3, RDS), including features like bulk-PDF exporting, CI/CD pipelines, and integrating legacy Perl.

Worked with a small team in agile development on a product used by 125+ instructors from 25+ institutions to serve 4K+ collegiate students randomized homework, midterms, and final exams. Had user feedback and application errors sent to our Slack channel for rapid triaging.

Worked primarily with a client’s engineering team on developing features and bugfixes for Linux-based networking equipment. Used C, Ash, Python (2.7, 3.x, Tornado), and Javascript (React) to implement and/or maintain features such as Captive Portals, VPN, Bluetooth Low-Energy, and QMI support.

Contributed to functional testing using Pytest and adding support for firmware features to their integrated React/Meteor webpage with unit and functional testing using Mocha, Enzyme, and Nightwatch. Developed personal Tcl+Expect scripts to reduce downtime.

Took ownership of VPN functionality that, after months of successful on-the-fly integration debugging and custom feature extensions, played a critical role in the client’s largest-ever contract win.

Worked on development for an embedded medical device using a vendor-specific cooperative multithreading SDK. Implemented features like USB- and WiFi-based data streaming and maintained the Python GUI used to collect data.

Developed the initial code for a BLE component using the Nordic SDK and worked on integrating it with connections to another micro running FreeRTOS.

Proposed decompiling and tracing a C# application to provide support for a development team. Implemented a mock Node server based on decompiled DLLs after learning that another development team was blocked by 3rd party delayed deliverables.

Worked on the frontend (React+Redux) and backend (Node/Express, Postgres) for a CMS-like web application. Initially interned under the QA team and was moved to development after implementing a feature demo.
