Built a serverless cloud-based backend infrastructure, utilizing AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway and DynamoDB to create a RESTful API to create a highly scalable, distributed, serverless infrastructure

Leveraged AWS Elastic Container Service and Fargate to launch docker containers

Used AWS Standard Queue Service to send messages to the lambda functions, simultaneously utilizing the queue as a CloudWatch metric for automatic scaling of ECS tasks

Integrated AWS Cognito to grant secure user access to the application and used S3 to store user’s social media posts

Developed the applications home page using the Angular, Capacitor, and Ionic framework

Architected and developed an automated onboarding tool for the Financial Services Public Cloud Pre- Sales team.

Tool consists of a client facing questionnaire that takes clients cloud consumption needs as input,

automatically generating a Cloud Consumption Table, a Bill of Materials, a Reference Architecture, and a Financial Services validated cloud solution. Built using the MERN stack, worked in an agile environment

Built a CI/CD pipeline using IBM Toolchain Pipelines, IBM Container Registry, and Github

Containerized existing applications and deployed securely on Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Service as

microservices to IBM Financial Services Cloud

Reduced the onboarding process from an average of 2 weeks to 2 hours, depending on negotiation.

Further improving client relations and allowing for an exponential increase in amount of onboarded

clients per year

Presented the business case of the onboarding tool and showcased a demo to a panel of IBM executives

Social science and computer science research on detection of controversial and hateful

content; additionally improve understanding of misinformation and hate speech. Specifically focused on our nation’s critical racial problems: Stop Asian Hate, Black Lives Matter Prof. Jonathon Corpus Ong
