• Worked on launching a federated platform that powers consistent and accurate delivery badging/messaging for Amazon customers. The platform is used by 50+ delivery program teams and serves millions of requests per second.

• Designed and developed highly available, performant, and resilient software focused on serving customer needs.

Worked on the Promotion Analytics and Optimization Services (PAOS) team.

● Leveraged vendor feedback to improve promotion recommendations using Apache Hive and AWS EMR (Elastic MapReduce).

● Refactored recommendation application (Java) leading to 20% improvement in performance and better maintainability.

● Added new functionality to the recommendation application to allow recommendations for multiple vendor platforms.

● Performed data analysis for roll-out of promotion recommendations to vendors during the Q4 Holiday period.

● Designed and developed a monitoring tool for backend data extraction tasks using Python & OracleDB.

● Automated certain steps of the issue investigation process, resulting in significant improvement in diagnosis times.

● Setup alerts and visualizations for critical business metrics using Grafana & OpenTSDB in collaboration with offsite data team.

● Led the effort to integrate the monitoring tool into Bloomberg’s centralized monitoring system.

● Designed, developed and deployed decentralized applications (Ðapps) for Fortune 500 clients using Solidity, MEAN & React on Ethereum.

● Implemented software development best practices, resulting in maintainable code and increased productivity.

● Led R&D projects, involved in client sessions and mentored new hires in Ethereum & Ðapp development.

● Administered infrastructure, analyzed attack vectors and performed industry research.
