Safety Platform Team Lead

▪ As a founding member of the safety platform, I led building the safety platform, replacing the legacy, monolithic C# stack, and onboard various contents served within Roblox such as image, audio, game, oauth apps, ads, etc.

▪ Platform implements CQRS and event-sourcing pattern to record all activities within Roblox and allows client teams to self-serve creating moderation workflows to do automated decision or create a human moderation tickets.

▪ Team grew more than since 3x during my tenure, and was responsible for training the new hires and mentoring junior engineers.

▪ Observability stack includes Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTracing and Kibana.

Developer for API Gateway and Identity Management Team

▪ Developed API Gateway (Apigee) proxy, JWT-based authentication, header-based Kubernetes cluster routing, CI pipeline for proxy configs, and 2-way SSL between API GW and nginx ingress.

▪ Developed integration with 3rd-party identity management, Auth0, to allow SSO (OAuth 2.0)

Developer for Virtualization Engine Upgrade Team

▪ Redesign upgrade as part of org-wide effort to migrate Illumos to Linux. Reduce downtime during upgrade, enable self-serviceability, and enhance pre-upgrade verification.

Automation Lead for Oracle Database Virtualization Team

▪ Design and implement host abstraction library which allows retrieving and mutating various

remote hosts (RHEL, SuSE, CentOS, Solaris, HP-UX, and AIX) using a uniform interface.

▪ Designed and implemented a library that automates the work of editing XML configs and

executing shell commands for the Oracle listener processes on a remote host.

Stack: Java, CouchDB, Vertica, Neo4j, and Spring

▪ Implemented E2E tests for notifications and service-monitoring service, and Syslog configuration.

▪ Mentored interns to successfully deliver projects. One project was to migrate boilerplate API client

codes to Jersey and another was to execute a performance test using JMeter.
