Currently working on the Enterprise Hiring Manager experience, Led the design of the new a category system for the marketplace, organizing jobs and freelancers into roles. Giving Upwork insights into supply and demand we had never had before. As part of this system, I worked cross-functionally to implement the system into every marketplace page. This later became one of four company imperatives for 2018.

Led the redesign of multiple marketplace pages including our applicant tracking system. Combined the entire hiring flow into one page, making hiring easier and more efficient. Identified issues with search relevance and created fast, testable solutions that led to a marketplace taxonomy redesign. All these changes results in $100 million+ gains to freelancer lifetime earnings.

Worked on the rebrand of oDesk.com, creating the first oDesk (later Upwork) design system. While also supporting the UX team on projects across the product.
