An internet startup company that is focused on creating affordable enterprise-grade systems for the African market. The role I play at Creare Africa requires me to wear multiple hats, which are:

1. Designing & developing the UI/UX for the business tool Hasibu, using React and the Next.js SDK. Hasibu is a subscription-based POS, stock management, accounting & CRM tool all rolled into one.

2. Onboarding, training & supporting clients who take up the system. This would include tasks such as helping them investigate uneven stock balances or filling requests for new features.

3. Pitching to prospective clients and communicating the value of the solutions they are being offered.

A digital payments platform with a focus in Africa. Cellulant provides a payment gateway that allows merchants to accept payments from 33+ countries in Africa. The above role involved:

1. Implementing application mockups from the design team.

2. Design, implementation, and maintenance of web integration modules/libraries to ease and improve on the developer experience for third party integrations in JavaScript, PHP, & .NET Core.

3. Improving & maintaining the checkout portal built with Vue.js. This was a web-based application that allowed merchants to configure the countries & payment methods they would like to make available, as well as test out their changes in a sandbox environment.

4. Onboarding local & global merchants onto the platform as well as supporting their goal live.
