Field Operations Technician (Project Manager)
Manage 90+ cell sites in Oakland, Berkeley, and El Cerrito. Generate and coordinate RFP’s and hire general contractors
(GC) for tower, shelter, and antenna line work. Coordinate troubleshooting efforts with outside vendors (ATT, public
utilities); represent T-Mobile to property owners, address concerns, assess issues, and minimize impact.
● Initiate contact with GC’s and provide scopes of work (SOWs), schedules, and checklists; oversee contracted
maintenance work, including electrical service repairs, shelter repairs, and tower and line maintenance.
● Manage efforts of GC’s and equipment suppliers, coordinate with vendors and property owners, and ensure construction
processes, procedures, and standards are met; support “release to production” of new equipment and sites.
● Perform onsite QA / QC inspections and quarterly site equipment audits; identify faulty equipment for replacement,
coordinate with equipment manufacturer, and track replacement / return process to completion.
● Maintain accurate files for projects and maintenance initiatives; develop and distribute closeout documents.
● Coordinate with management, attend deployment meetings, communicate revisions / project changes to team, and
track / report progress; assess impact of project or site issues in terms of quality and project timing.
● Meet with city and municipal officials for licensing and permitting requirements on existing cell sites (annually).
