I've been writing code since before my first paid job in 2006 — started by solving problems for myself, then found an active PHP community in Poland where helping others with non-trivial issues became one of my best learning grounds. That same instinct still drives me: spot a problem, figure it out, ship it.

• Cut intercontinental API latency by more than half (P95 630ms → <300ms) by diagnosing a TLS misconfiguration across the full request lifecycle. Upgraded to TLS 1.3, moved SSL offloading closer to the client, and removed a redundant CDN layer — owning the investigation, root cause analysis, and rollout end-to-end.
• Eliminated overselling during traffic surges in a high-throughput async e-commerce platform. Designed and implemented a stock reservation system to keep our catalog in sync with downstream platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, etc.) despite inherent race conditions. The next flash sale event resulted in zero oversells.
• Revived a legacy bot infrastructure used for catalog scraping and automated checkout. Identified a core design flaw in the scrape pipeline that, once fixed, cut processing time by 9× and reduced infrastructure costs proportionally. Reliability of the checkout bots improved 5–10× measured by incident frequency before and after.
• Led the design and implementation of end-to-end tests against a live external system — breaking the team's convention of mocking all third-party dependencies. The resulting test suite became a critical safety net, catching regressions before PRs merged and freeing the team to ship new features with confidence.
• Continuously improved developer experience through a steady stream of small, high-ROI changes. Dozens of targeted improvements to tooling, workflows, and feedback loops compounded over time into a meaningfully faster and less frustrating day-to-day for the whole team.
