As a software engineer at an innovative global health startup, focuses include full-stack product development, building data pipelines for clients in Latin America and Africa, and the development of the company’s open-source software initiatives. Accomplishments include:
• Developed full-stack Data Upload tool using React.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and GCP/Dataprep APIs, empowering users to seamlessly query their own data on platform dashboards.
• Spearheaded the development of a React.js internationalization library, incorporating text interpolation and pluralization. Implemented Babel-based Node.js scripts for automated translation of web app copy into multiple user locales.
• Orchestrated infrastructure and crafted Python data integrations for four ETL pipelines, prioritizing performance for rapid ingestion into the Apache Druid datastore.
• Led a team of three to create a viable and open-source version of "Harmony," the core Zenysis product, contributing to its recognition as a Digital Public Good.
• Developed a comprehensive syllabus and provided hands-on assistance for teaching system administrators at the Brazilian Ministry of Health to deploy and maintain the open-source "Harmony" system, both virtually and in-person.
