Part of bootstrapping Privacy Aware Infrastructure (PAI) across Meta

* Instagram Maps - Led a cross org 0 -> 1 initiative for geo anchored media(stories, photos, AR effects) discovery on Instagram Map. Part of the founding team to launch it starting from one country to globally. Tech used - LACIS - Location Anchored Content Indexing and Serving, GraphQL etc.

* Facebook Search for Local Businesses - Integrated new features using A/B Testing, metrics & reviews which saw an increase of 80K user actions per day, bringing more customers for businesses and revenue for Facebook

* Design, implement and test computation algorithms to generate insights related to work habits(C#)

* SIGS Migration - Migrated groups data from Directory Service (MySQL) to Graph Database for scalability and long-term durability

* Cross team collaboration, mentor junior Engineers for their growth.

* Development and enhancement of large-scale distributed system working with Service Oriented Architecture of Amazon’s supply chain system in eCommerce (JAVA, C++)

* Maintained and enhanced the distributed datastore that keeps track of inventory millions of items sold online

* Handled end to end migration of all SKUs from 32bit to 64 bits storage for scaling.

* Migrated live Oracle tables with millions of rows to AWS as part of push to move Amazon infra to AWS

• Designed algorithm in SQL to optimize a random sampling for Quality Assurance, increasing faulty charge detection by 10%

• Enhanced Java APIs to revamp the view of mobile usage and monthly bills enabling reduced service delivery time and more ease of use.

• Developed SQL script for charge fault detection in pre-billing stage, leading to 10% reduction in billing rejection rates.

• Implemented UNIX shell script to map data from diverse applications, integrating with a dashboard for monitoring statistics during deployment resulting in 50% more ease of access.
